No Tax on Social Security In progress (reduced to $4,000 tax deduction) - included in bill passed by House
Interest on Car Loans Fully tax-Deductible In progress (American cars only) - included in bill passed by House
Impose Tariffs on Canada and Mexico Somewhat kept - On April 03 Canada and Mexico were spared additional tariffs, though tariffs on Automobiles and Steel/Aluminum remain. The rest of the world was hit with significant tariff increases - On March 06 the tariffs on Canada/Mexico were removed and will be re-evaluated on April 02 2025 - On March 04 2025, 25% tariffs were imposed on Canada and Mexico. Was Feb 4 - Now "On Hold" to March 1 2025 - Mexico has agreed to send 10,000 members of national guard to border, Canada has agreed to cooperation on border security and appoint a "fentanyl czar".
